This night doesn't appear to be running anymore...which is a shame becasue it was a good place to play
brendan - Jul 07
A real pub venue with real atmosphere. Jo and crew are lovely and put on a good show for the punters and participants alike. You won't get compared in or mollycoddled, mind you - just get up there and do your thang and you'll be appreciated for it. A good night.
The Great Distance - Aug 05
Good little place, nice and intimate. Cool guys running the night, good chance for getting up there as there is a good cross section of acts. Def worth cheaking out. Get there before 8 to get on the preforming list as it really does fill up!

new Acoustic Stage website

We took over the running of the Acoustic Stage from Pete in Aug '04. We now run the open mic session back at the Silver Moon.    Contact Jo if you want to come and play, it's on every tuesday so we always need plenty of headline acts. We also run the acoustic stage on the first sunday of the month at Club 85.
Jo and Rachel - Nov 04
Acoustic Stage, Shortys Sports Bar, Sunday evenings, 7.30, see acoustic stage link

Hi Please can you let me know if you are still doing acoustic nights on a Tuesday  I recently played Club 85 and am looking for other acosutic venues to play  My web site has some demoes of the type of songs I write/lay so have a listen and let me know  Thanks  Trevor (07789 691542)
Trevor Hensley - Jul 03
Very small pub venue (about 30 and it's quite full!) with small PA and small stage. No monitors but you can hear yourself ok as the audience are quite quiet while you play. Good mixture of acts doing mainly originals but some covers. Performers usually get to do 3 or 4 songs with a headliner doing about 30 minutes. Do a good floorspot and you get asked back to headline (I did - big grin!). Good appreciative audience, nice atmosphere. If you want to play, turn up on the night and look for Peter Amoah (the man in the bandanna!).
Bob Green - Apr 03
